About You

As a member of the Wholesale Division, you will be responsible for expediting the order fulfillment process and/or commitments for the domestic and/or international customer base. You will monitor customer orders across all Wakefern departments and ensure orders are received on time and that all stores follow the pre-determined delivery schedules. Other responsibilities include: reviewing item exceptions and substitute wherever possible to avoid unnecessary scratches, act as the liaison between customer and Wakefern buyers/analyst, troubleshooting customer's needs, communicating various Wakefern programs and policies, writing and adjusting orders, maintaining inventory objectives and service levels, inputting distributions and troubleshooting any delivery and shipping problems.

What You'll Do

  • Authorize new items in customer model, enter distros and send customer new item set up information
  • Monitor inbound purchase orders for distros from Ad program, Pallet Program, Shipper Program, Commitments, and new items to avoid scratching.
  • Communicate to the various divisions and vendors to committed customer demands
  • Mark up vendor presentations prior to vendors visiting customers
  • Track availability of items that our customers show interest in from the various presentations
  • Review daily scratch reports and analyze each scratch
  • Compile weekly item exception reports to identify items not orderable
  • Provide customer with weekly ad program
  • Ability to manage customer retails in the Wakefern systems as needed.
  • Create manual purchase orders for items not set up in Wakefern, and coordinate delivery with the vendor and customer.
  • Expeditor must be flexible with work hours and have the ability to work on weekends if needed.
  • Some driving may be required

What We Are Looking For

  • Must be able to handle heavy interaction with customers and company divisions via phone and email
  • Detail oriented multi-tasker with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Presentation skills preferred
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Power Point. Knowledge of RAPID a plus
  • Strong customer service skills – ability to communicate the needs of the customer to the appropriate Wakefern divisions
  • Ability to complete the core functions while being creative and thinking outside of the box for answers.

How you'll work

Hybrid schedule – work four days per week in Edison, NJ office. Flexibility to work fifth day at home

Some weekend work as required
