We are looking for a Shop Manager who will work in partnership with Bloomingdales 59th street.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage women's sales.
  • Drive sales to achieve seasonal sales plan for respective wholesale shop.
  • Achieve yearly sales goal while trying to end above last year total trend.
  • Manage team of selling specialists to ensure that each specialist is achieving individual theory sales goal. On average each selling specialist should represent minimum of 40% theory sales out of their total sales.
  • Manage stock specialist to ensure all product on hand is properly stored in stock room, suggested markdowns are taken according to store calendar and execute RTV styles by deadline dates.
  • Partner with Northeast Visual Manager to execute floorsets according to promotional calendar and product deliveries.
  • Maintain shop standards.
  • Execute monthly visual directive and partner with Director of Wholesale Operations.
  • Communicate re-order requests regularly to sales team.
  • Deliver feedback on sales trend, product fit and any missed opportunities.
  • Strategically Identify best selling practices and events that will maximize business and product sell though.
  • Partner with department store visual team to get additional exposure in different areas of store.
  • Devise action plan for top sales months to ensure all appropriate measures are taken. Be creative and find new opportunities to drive sales to ensure successful selling events.
  • Depending on region and sales volume, senior shop manager may manage more than one store.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6-8+ years exp in Wholesale and/or Retail environment
  • Previous management experience
  • Experience In a department store culture
  • Ability to manage a team of sellers
  • Comfortable partnering with department store management to gather additional Information not providers by theory sales team
  • Ability to be flexible on a daily basis

Salary range: $80,000.00 -85,000.00*

*The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
