JOB DESCRIPTION AMG - Rivercenter - Family Medicine About Facility: 1575 North Rivercenter Dr. Milwaukee, WI 53212 General Information: Beds: 40 Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? RN: No, 2 years with clinic experience preferred MA: Yes, need to have clinic experience Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes (for RN and MA) Patient Types: Peds, adults, geriatrics Wellness, sick visits, vaccinations, minor procedures (suture removals), INR, IUDs, Nexplanon, hypertension clinic led by RNs MAs will be assigned to specific provider. If their assigned provider is not there for the day, then they'll work with another provider Urgent care is on site but separate from Family Practice Patients seen in a day: 200-300 Required Licensure & Certifications: RN: BLS MA: BLS Skills required: MA: need clinic experience (peds & adults), injections: vaccines, Depo, testosterone, Toradol, Rocephin; will call patients for normal test results, obtaining A1C, rooming patients, vitals, history, med rec, setting up for cultures/pap smear. Ambulatory EPIC experience Support on the Unit: 3 other RNs 7 MAs 5 Patient Service Representatives Lead RN Lab/Phlebotomy on site 8 total providers: 2 PA, 1 NP, the rest MDs Management/Supervisor Technology/Equipment: EMR: Ambulatory EPIC - preferred experience for RN, required for MA Orientation: 1 week of orientation, more if needed Other notes: Scrub Color: Any solid color Parking: Parking lot, free
