Your expertise will empower clients to make healthier choices and improve overall wellness. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, you will conduct nutritional assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide guidance on breastfeeding, meal planning, and healthful eating. This position requires a commitment to community health, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations.Responsibilities:Provides nutrition information and services to women and children enrolled in the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program.Assess nutritional needs and develops nutritional care plans and education for participants.Provides breastfeeding support and appropriate follow-up for high-risk participants.Clerical functions including verification and documentation of program eligibility requirements and eWIC benefits.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Science or Nutrition related.Certification of WIC in accordance with USDA regulations.THIS IS A 100% GRANT FUNDED POSITION!Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMMontefiore Medical Center's advancement in the healthcare industry is also yours.
