Job Type Full-time Description Wild game processing Mission Live the Prasek's Core Values. Perform all duties related to assisting taking customer's orders for wild game processing and custom processing orders. Personal Qualities - Self-motivated; driven to take the lead and make anything happen - Willing to sacrifice self-interest and take responsibility for who you are and what you do - Genuine, friendly, and passionate - Embrace a culture of continuous improvement - Ability to treat Team Players with dignity and respect - Highly adaptable and able to handle stressful situations Requirements Essential Functions • Manage orders using an in-house deer processing software, yet excels at pen-and-paper orders • Assists within the processing room as needed to help orders attain a fast status. • Contacts customers to address any questions or inform status updates of orders, while maintaining a positive attitude. • Maintains inventory levels of various raw ingredients and packaging goods • Allocates supplies on the production floor to keep production moving • Coordinates unloading of received goods and transfers from other suppliers or our other production plant • Will conduct Pre-Op inspection so the room starts at the correct designated times • Be willing to work well with others and maintain a positive and professional attitude • Assists the production managers with day-to-day activities which will vary • Accomplishes other tasks deemed by the production supervisors on-site Education, Knowledge and Experience - Possess a thorough overall knowledge of all value-added products, i.e., quality and ingredients - Basic knowledge of technologically based equipment - Ability to understand and use all needed machinery Physical and Other Requirements - Must be 18 years of age or older - Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds - Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, reach overheard and side-to-side for an extended period of time - Must be able to move safely around equipment and possess dexterity in hands and fingers - As dictated by business and need, must be able to work extended hours and varying work schedule
