Location: Seymour,TX, USA
The WIND Planner manages, reporting to the Acciona Site/Regional Manger, the planned works on the site to promote an efficient operation while maximizing the operational availability of the equipment and seeking to achieve the quality, spending, prevention, and production goals established.
Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the resources needed to execute the planned activities. Coordination with Engineering for annual plan
Manage the optimization strategy of the operation in the sites in the area.
Manage the execution of the Annual Maintenance Plan, complying with budget, availability, contractors, and site/region specific restrictions.
Deliver the schedule proposal for annual, monthly and weekly activities.
Coordinate the schedule proposal with subcontractors
Identify risk in the execution of the Annual Maintenance Plan and define an action plan to minimize the impact.
Identify the services require to execute the Annual Maintenance Plan, prepare technical specifications to launch purchase orders and check the technical offers.
Fully understand the details and commitments of agreements and contractual documents as it relates to the O&M planned activities for the site.
Ensure the fulfillment of the milestones, services and planning of the different agreements according to the performance of each supplier.
Coordinate with Supply Chain the timely arrival of materials for planned activities.
Correct use of planning, execution and work orders reporting tools.
Promote safety and health habits in the activities.
Collaborate in supervising the inventory of tools, consumables and spare parts, detecting possible needs or modifications. Certifications and calibrations
Collaborate preparing annual budget for the site and in developing operational reports.
Requirements:
2 or 4 years technical degree or equivalent work experience and training
2 or 3 years in a similar position and 5 years experience O&M in an energy/renewables environment, WIND and PV is a plus.
Technical diploma/high school diploma and five (5) years experience in a related industry.
Understanding of hazards, workplace safety requirements and ensure to follow safety procedures.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ensure that all work performed at site conform to applicable regulatory, quality and environmental standards
Ability to monitor site performance, availability, and reliability.
Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to utilize IBM Maximo software systems is preferred.
Ability to generate reports, presentations and other documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to think and analyze situations in a fast paced environment and make fact based decisions
Have a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record
Spanish is a plus
Ability to travel to domestic and international locations for training.
