Consider joining our impressive team today!JOB OVERVIEWXcel Engineeringis seeking qualified applicants for a Windchill Systems Administratorto join our team of talented and diverse individuals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSInstall, configure, customize,maintain, and upgrade PTC Windchill products.Provide technical support, server management, network, and database administration.Troubleshoot Windchill technical issues including both server and CAD client-side.Manage System Performance using PTC System or other monitoring tools.Develop and document processes and user guide.Use ticketing system to document requests, track changes, and explain resolutions.Ensure thatnew usersget PTC Windchill productsproperly installedwithappropriate permissions.Liasson with the Creo / Windchill Users group.Maintain user statistics of PTC products.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSUnited States Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance.Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or related field) or combined work experience plus education.7+ years of experience with PTC Windchill including both experience managing the tool and supporting the associated infrastructure.Experience in working with engineering staff to diagnose and resolve issues.Experience with creating Windchill Products, Workflows, and Lifecycles and Creo configuration files.Experience managing PLM or PDM systems.Familiarity with the various Windchill Modules and CAD Tools.Excellent interpersonal skills suitable for user support and ability to work well with peer system administrators.Ability to time manage and prioritize projects.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONSInside office environment.Working on a computer for long periods of time.May involve long period of sitting at a desk.The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.OTHER DUTIESThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
