Winder Operator- 1st ShiftLocation : MANSFIELD, TX, United StatesJob Family : ManufacturingJob Type : RegularPosted : Nov 12, 2024Job ID : 52840Back to Search ResultsJob DescriptionApply Now >Save JobJob SavedOperate and monitor bobbin windersSet up and operate bobbin winders according to manufacturing specifications, following detailed instructions accuratelyString wire through bobbin winders, adjust counter to necessary footage, fill up oil container as neededRecord the necessary data on WW3 for labelingPlace finished bobbins on wire table, make wire bobbins according to inventory on wire tableKeep all bobbin machines operating continuouslyPull material from warehouse as neededMaintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5S practicesKnow and practice all safety regulations and quality guidelinesReport production issues to Direct LeadPerform work of an equal or lower classificationHigh School Diploma or GED, recognizes International Diplomas (may need to be translated to English)U.S. citizen or permanent residency status requiredMust be able to work and communicate with peersMust be able to adapt to production needs to satisfy customer demandsAbility to read manufacturing specifications and use calipersBasic understanding of lean fundamentals preferredPhysical & PPE Requirements:Standing, bending, lifting, and carrying (up to 55 lbs.), walking, pushing, pulling, balancing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, handling, grasping, and working under normal conditions. Must have hand and eye coordination. Repetitive motions and moving machine parts. Exposure to oil. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses and ear plugs (85-90 dB) are all required when working in the mfg. plant.
