The Aiken, SC plant produces approximately 1,000,000 miles of glass fiber reinforcement per day and operates on a 24/7/365 schedule. We are an agile, flexible,small-batch manufacturer able to meet the diverse technical requirements of our global client base. Our engineers and scientists have reinvented ultrafine glass fiber reinforcement manufacturing with proprietary, eco-friendly processes. Most notably, many of our production processes qualify as zero carbon footprint activities and the Aiken site has reduced its carbon footprint by 88% since 2002.
The Job
Operates standard forming winding compliment to produce continuous product while auditing & notifying appropriate personnel of any quality & or equipment problems.

Do these responsibilities describe what you do best?
* Perform proper scanning procedure(s) while operating winding machine compliment.
* Inspects doff tubes and handles any occurrences (including but not limited to, breaks, call-downs, package build, etc.).
* Audits and notifies appropriate personnel of any quality and / or equipment problems, writes and follows up
* Operates computer utilizes various software programs to accomplish goals (including but not limited to process audits, maintenance requests, MES, etc.).
* Procures packing material from designated surge area. Visually inspects and ensures proper weight and packs (including but not limited to shippable forming packages, wet chop, etc.)
You are a good fit if
You are/have:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment at least 1 year is a plus.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Ability to stand for 12 hours a day.
* Learn quickly under fast paced production environment.
* Ability to work swing shift.
* Must be able to pass Work Keys.
* Great communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
