Our customer is searching for multiple shifts! As a Vessel Winder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining winding machines to manufacture composite pressurized vessels. You will play a crucial role in the production process by ensuring the high-quality fabrication of these vessels, which are utilized in various industries such as aerospace, defense, and automotive. Responsibilities: - Set up and prepare winding machines for the manufacturing process, ensuring proper calibration and alignment. - Load and unload liners onto winding machines, securing them in place. - Monitor the automated winding process and adjust as necessary to maintain product quality. - Apply composite fibers and resins in accordance with the specified winding patterns and layering requirements. - Inspect finished vessels for defects, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards. - Perform routine maintenance on winding machines, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs with maintenance personnel when necessary. - Perform daily routine cleaning function on all winding tooling. - Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and time taken for each manufacturing run. - Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment by following established procedures and protocols. Job Requirements Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience as a Composite Pressurized Vessel Winder or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. - Familiarity with operating and maintaining machines, including their setup and adjustment. - Strong attention to detail and quality orientation to ensure the fabrication of high-quality vessels. - Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate any production concerns. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet production targets within established deadlines.
