**Windows Desktop Support Specialist (Consultant)**
**Job Description**
This position requires strong technical, customer service and communication skills. We are seeking an experienced technician who will be responsible for assisting in resolving technical problems/issues for end users within a complex network. The ideal candidate works well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong interest in emerging tools and technologies within the trading industry.
**Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities**
+ Identify and resolve hardware or software issues reported by end users.
+ Advanced troubleshooting skills and must be able to see the big picture.
+ Account provisioning in a hybrid Active Directory / Mail environment
+ Install security patches on Desktops / Windows servers
+ Manage Active Directory TCP IP services like DNS and others like DHCP
+ Review ticket queue to meet SLA requirements
+ Answer incoming user phone calls to deal with user issues
+ Relocate users and technical equipment from one location to the next
+ Interact with 3rd party hardware and software vendors about their technical solutions to fix end user technical issues**Hardware**

+ Development tools**Qualifications**
+ Qualified candidate must be committed, and passionate about technology
+ 3+ years experience as a Windows desktop support specialist in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong understanding of the Windows networking stack
+ Willing to gain experience working in a Microsoft / Linux hybrid environment
