Windows Systems Administration MANDATORY FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTs
The job requires up to 15% travel to other sites (Manufacturing Plants) across US as and when needed. There may be requirements for overnight stay and air travel. All travel expenses will be fully reimbursed as per Cognizant policy. The candidate should have a strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to coordinate with multiple stake holders from various job functions. MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS a) 8+ Years of solid hands on experience on Microsoft Windows Systems Administration with Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019. Ability to technically troubleshoot system issues on Windows Platform. b) Must have experience working in a Manufacturing Plant Environment or working on a datacenter environment. c) Extensive knowledge on fundamentals of VMware, vSphere, vCenter, ESXI cluster administration. The candidate should be a hands on IT technician familiar with Dell products (workstations and rack mount servers). Experience on racking and stacking of ESXI Hosts and configuration of ESXI and SAN Storage in a data center or a Manufacturing Plant Environment. d) Experience with Infra Support activities like installation and uninstallation of Software on Windows 10 and Server Platform. Handle diagnosis of complex issues, experience in administering and troubleshooting the provisioned Infrastructure on Plant Segmented networks. e) Knowledge of Windows Imaging and experience building Windows 10 Workstations through PxE or USB. Ability to manage small device inventories. Hands on knowledge supporting Windows 10 Operating system Environment on Workstations f) Hands on with maintenance activities like OS Patching, SEP, Backing Procedures, ioSafe Etc. g) Knowledge of DHCP, SNMP and Active Directory. h) Experience working with a SLA based ticketing system - ServiceNow/Remedy/HPSM etc. GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS
Knowledge on Infra H/W, Networking, Security, and Storage & Backup Prior experience in supporting manufacturing control system will be added advantage. Prior experience supporting Plant based software such as Wonderware, Rockwell or iFix would be hugely beneficial Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 1 /2 /2025 The annual salary for this position is between 79,000 to 107,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
