Job Title: Quality product Specialist

Location: West Des Moines, IA

Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday. 6am to 2:30pm, manufacturing environment

Job Summary:

The Quality Product Specialist is responsible for in process production inspection of Windsor products. This role will adhere to numerous programs, processes and procedures and ultimately improve customer satisfaction thru overall compliance to the quality system.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Perform SOP audits to verify they are accurate, and they are being performed correctly

* Coach/train production team on opportunities identified during inspections.

* Work with the production team to solve quality opportunities; implement permanent solutions to prevent reoccurrence.

* Perform part dimensional qualification, using statistical analysis to determine capability.

* Use of various measurement equipment-tape measure, calipers, go/no go gages, optical comparator, etc.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 1 year experience

* Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. This position is trained on Windsor's systems.

* SAP knowledge is a plus, but not required.

* Able to perform arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; working with fractions, decimals and percentages.

* Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

* Ability to work under pressure.

* Strong communication skills.
