Job Overview This position is responsible for hosting guests and acts as the face of Vintner's Table. An important requirement of this role is selling merchandise, wine, and wine club memberships to all guests. The Wine Educator will assist in daily operations and special events, stocking wine and retail merchandise, educating guests on all Folino Estate products, and creating a positive, memorable experience every step of the way. Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong knowledge of wines and wine service preferred.
- Strong communication skills
- Must be dependable, reliable, and motivated.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- A team player and possess a can do attitude.
- Highly motivated, independent, and able to take direction well.
- High level of customer service skills
- Ability to listen and communicate with all guests and team members.
- Should be outgoing, friendly and enjoy interacting with people.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesGeneral
- Demonstrates strong understanding and skill in using the current POS system.
- Educating guests on Folino Estate's wines, our events, and how they can receive more information.
- Effectively sells wine, retail, and wine club memberships to guests and asks each guest for the sale.
- Strives to turn visitors into repeat guests and club members.
- Tracks daily sales goals, guest counts, and tastings; shares this information with the team.
- Maintains a clean and organized wine-tasting and retail area.
- Restocks wine and retail items.
- Washes glassware, wipes counters, wine bar, and tables, empties trash, and recycling, basic cleaning duties, etc.
Guest Service
- Provides excellent customer service and unforgettable wine-tasting experience.
- Greets and welcomes all guests as they enter the Bottle Shop; invites them for a tasting or to learn more about Folino Estate wine and retail items.
- Always invites guests to return.
- Provides the latest information on Folino Estate wines, techniques, etc., and can respond to guest questions.
Key Performance Indicators
- Helps contribute to wine tasting, wine, and gift shop sales goals
- Is a strong team player and maintains open and clear communication.
- Consistently receives positive feedback from guests.
- Handles guest complaints in a professional and supportive manner.
- Maintains accurate cash drawer.
