Jon & Vinny's Fairfax, our original location, is known for exceptional food and warm hospitality. We're seeking a passionate Beverage Manager to join our team and enhance our guest experience.

Position Overview: The Beverage Manager will oversee beverage service and operations, manage costs, maintain inventory, ensure a positive work environment, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves working with the wine director to curate our beverage program and achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Add positive energy to daily operations.
  • Assist in hiring front-of-house staff.
  • Manage costs, labor, and scheduling.
  • Develop knowledge of financial aspects (PCL, Petty Cash, Inventory).
  • Communicate daily challenges and problem-solve.
  • Ensure high guest satisfaction and build guest relationships.

Beverage-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Complete weekly beverage inventory and enter invoices.
  • Collaborate on the beverage program and cultivate rep relationships.
  • Train on ordering and organizing wine deliveries.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and update BTG Wines.
  • Hire, train, and schedule the wine team.
  • Drive sales and lead staff education.
  • Track and update 86'd wines.
  • Order beverage-related items and oversee the coffee program.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in beverage management, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and coffee.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
