Noe Valley Wine & Spirits is a small boutique wine, spirits and beer shop in San Francisco's lovely Noe Valley. As a neighborhood shop, our goal is to provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in a friendly, clean and well-organized environment. We sell what we think is the best in its category, and we like to have FUN!Must be able to work Saturdays from 11am-7pm. Swaps are often available if you need an occasional weekend off. Sundays and Mondays we are closed.Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, stock bottles, beer, organize all backstock and clean regularly.Must be computer literate and be able to use a modern POS. Specific knowledge of Excel, Word, Affinity, Mail Chimp, and basic web maintenance a plus.Familiarity with major social media platforms and experience/skill writing copy for social media and the web desired.Wine, beer and spirits knowledge required to be able to assist customers in selecting, purchasing and enjoying wine beer and spirits. 1 year's experience in customer service a must or enrollment in wine education (WSET, CSW, Court of Masters, etc).Should be willing to take on multiple roles at the shop and able to participate in tasting and selecting product as a team.Role will be part-time to begin, with potential for growth to full time for the right person.
