Training dates are December 17, 2024 - December 20, 2024, various times and locations. Implements a County-wide program at a PALS Sports & Cultural Day Camp site. Demonstrates knowledge of recreational principles and practices, safety operations, and program management. Promotes a positive working environment by encouraging team work, respect, cooperation, and open communication. Trains and supervises subordinate staff, oversees all planned activities and events, mediates parent and staff concerns in a professional manner. Understands and implements accessibility standards and policies, prepares weekly reports, and attends all required meetings. Performs other duties as needed. Minimum Qualification Requirements Training & Experience: (1) Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, physical education or recreation and 2 years of professional level experience in planning, organizing and directing recreational activities or (2) any equivalent combination of training and experience in the areas specified above.
