The right Winter Work Laborer checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator. This role exists to perform a variety of routine and semiskilled manual tasks involving general repair, site preparation, basic painting and assisting expert painters in assigned duties and tasks. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable. Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Assists in the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, walkways and other park assets utilizing hand and power tools
- Occasionally operate company vehicles and construction equipment as trained and qualified
- Assist with conducting scheduled maintenance and regulatory inspections
- Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and transporting materials
- Cleaning and disposing of materials on project and construction sites daily and in accordance with the Facility Maintenance hazardous chemical policy and local/federal laws and regulations
- Maintain records of work completed and parts used
- Perform duties in a safe manner in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, company policies & procedures, applicable regulations, and industry standards
- Assist others as requested
- Effectively communicate with others

- High school degree or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- At least 6 months of experience with tools, equipment and materials (wood and other materials) common to the carpentry and maintenance trade
- Must have a valid TN Driver's License with current automobile insurance and be able to drive company vehicles as required
- Must successfully complete a background check including motor vehicle and pre-employment drug screen

- Able to tolerate approved exposure levels to various chemicals found in cleaning solvents, adhesives, paints, and lubricants
- Able to use hand tools, power tools and equipment such as air compressors, skill saw, electric drill, impact wrench, hand wrenches, shovel, etc
- Ability to utilize when required safety equipment to include hard hats, safety glasses, masks, harnesses or other fall protection, hand protection and other items as required for a specific task or job
