Summary:

Under direct supervision, this position performs a variety of duties ensuring the timely and accurate processing of electronic wire transactions while providing excellent customer service, under strict departmental processing standards and guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Listens attentively, enters and verifies the required information into the system to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Prepares a variety of standard reports for the department.
  • Assists internal and external customers with by gathering specific information for wire processing; refers to supervisor for complex issues and or to the appropriate department.
  • Maintains all documentation according to departmental and company retention guidelines.
  • Ensures information requests are handled in accordance Federal Reserve or Swift guidelines based on departmental and company policies/procedures.
  • Completes, passes and maintains an up-to-date status for all positional and company required compliance and regulatory courses by assigned due date(s).
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:

  • Possess basic accounting skills, understand debits and credits
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers via telephone
  • Ability to process and remain focused with high volume calls
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to be respectful and courteous to co-workers and customers

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer and Office Equipment Skills:

  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Keyboard proficient

Hours:

  • Monday - Friday / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
