Wireless Engineer/Tester in Englewood, ColoradoRemote/Onsite Expectation: Hybrid - _3/2 in office/remote split Job description: Manage new product introduction and lifecycle management for Spectrum Out of Home Wi-Fi Projects compromising of Wi-Fi access points, WLAN controllers etc. Responsible for engineering ownership of Spectrum Community Solutions (Multi-Family) managed network deployments, which include Wi-Fi access points, WLAN controller, network switches, and network routers. Responsible for maintaining engineering documentation and supporting test and operation teams. Solve network anomalies using network troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Duties include:
- Work closely with senior Network Engineering resources and participate in the implementation and maintenance related to new and ongoing projects.
- Provide engineering design subject-matter expertise for lab proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Document, deploy, and validate solutions in a lab environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across multiple technologies.
- Develop and maintain network documentation in accordance with engineering policies and procedures.
- Initiate, participate in and follow up on network change management events.
Required Skillsets / Experience:
- Experienced with complex enterprise environments.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a larger team.
- CCNP/any equivalent certification-Preferred
- Experience deploying and configuring network engineering equipment; and troubleshooting Wi-Fi network equipment.
Nice to Have Skillets:
- Exposure to Juniper/Cisco routers, switches, and Firewalls
- Exposure to Spine and Leaf (CLOS) Network Architecture
- Working knowledge of Cisco IOS/NX-OS
