Job Title: Wireless Field Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX (50% Travel Nationwide)

Duration: Full-time

Pay Range: $40-45/hr. (Based on Experience)

Summary:

This position is responsible for performing tasks in support of Wireless projects, Wireless Professional Services and Wireless Divisional initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Wireless surveys for pre-sales support and as customer requested service

• Support Wireless Installations with technical and logistical assistance

• Material management and logistics support for Wireless deployments

• Troubleshooting and Manufacturer Support Coordination

• Support the needs of subcontractors deployed on Wireless opportunities

• Site Close-Out support

• Survey Report Generation

• Quality and Standards support for divisional and project base systems

• Assist with Wireless equipment manufacturer support for opportunities

• Coordinate with Wireless Director regarding daily tasks

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred

• Ability to travel within the US

• Valid Drivers' License

• Basic Understanding of Cabling Installation best practices (Fiber, Coax, Category, etc.)

• Installation Experience in IT Infrastructure

• General Technical Troubleshooting Skills

• Interest in Wireless and emerging technologies

• Project Management Experience is preferred

• Strong professionalism, communication, and customer facing skills

• Familiarization with PowerPoint and other common Microsoft Office Applications

• 3+ years' experience in the telecommunications industry

• Ability to read, analyze and decipher scopes of work

• Ability to use basic hand tools, punch down, shears and crimp tools

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
