WisCorps - Individual Placements - Multiple Opportunities
To support community-focused organizations and increase their capacity to provide their services, while adopting WisCorps mission. The mission is to develop leadership and a passion for community service through the active stewardship of Wisconsin's natural resources and of educating community members about Wisconsin's natural environment. Additionally, members in this role will be provided with opportunities to gain practical conservation and/or educator skills while exploring different career options in locations across Wisconsin. Member Duties : Individual Placement members are responsible for carrying out the duties assigned to them from their service site location. These duties may include community connection, education programing creation and implementation, and/or land management activities. Other possible responsibilities may include: Marketing of programs, development and maintenance of community gardens, research/implementation of conservation practices, completing program evaluations, assisting volunteers with programs and events, construction or maintenance of trails, and restoration and improvement of area ecosystems.
