Company Overview:
Our client is a Contemporary women's clothing line looking for an Account Executive to manage off price and private label sales.
Responsibilities include:
- Obtain an understanding of the private label/off price women's contemporary fashion market, as well as a working knowledge of business with Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Kohls, Sams Club, Costco, etc
- Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Strengthen and build existing relationships with current account base as well as targeting new accounts
- Maintain weekly selling sheets to monitor and analyze sales by style and by customer
- Analyze customer purchase histories and current sales records to identify sales trends and suggest potential actions
- Track and update regularly the status of POs
- Monitor market trends and identify future business opportunities and profitability
- Contribute to and create presentations and line sheets for market
- Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary
Skills and Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in women's off price wholesale apparel sales REQUIRED
- Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
- Proactive self-starter who needs little direction
- Knowledge of Retail Math
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
