Job Description David Yurman Summer 2025 Internship The David Yurman Internship Program in New York City is a paid 10-week immersive experience designed for students and emerging professionals passionate about the luxury jewelry industry. This exclusive program offers interns the opportunity to work closely with expert teams across various departments. Interns will gain hands-on experience in crafting exquisite jewelry, understanding the intricacies of luxury branding, and learning the operational aspects of a world-renowned brand. Set in the heart of NYC, interns will also have access to networking events, mentorship, and industry insights that foster professional growth in the competitive luxury market.

Title Women's Design Intern
Reporting Into Assistant Manager, High Jewelry Women's Design
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Gemstone Management: Ensure all gemstones slated for designs are thoroughly quality-checked, polished (when necessary), and certified before turnover deadlines.
- Stone Procurement: Determine the quantity of stones needed for styles and manage the ordering process to ensure timely availability.
- Exploratory Projects: Collaborate with the shop and CAD teams on exploratory projects, providing support for reference materials and future line items.
- Mock-Ups Creation: Produce quick mock-ups and photoshops of ongoing projects to facilitate design discussions and approvals.
- HJ Cabinets System Improvement: Develop a comprehensive system to reference previous waxes, castings, and test sets. Organize and document materials according to collections, setting styles, and components, creating a library accessible to the entire design team.
Qualifications - Jewelry Design major required
- Detail oriented, excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and Excel
- Proactive, eager to learn, and collaborative individuals
Education Must be currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a Jewelry Design field with a 3.0 overall GPA minimum
