Job Summary We are seeking a skilled WordPress Engineer with a balanced expertise in Front-End, Full-Stack, Back-End, and Plugin development across the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in custom plugin development, performance optimization, efficient coding practices, and effective communication with multiple stakeholders. This role requires experience with React and Gutenberg for dynamic block creation, as well as a solid understanding of unit testing automation and CI/CD.Key Responsibilities •Communicate effectively with stakeholders, taking ownership and accountability for assigned tasks. •Manage and prioritize tasks, contributing proactively to performance optimization and coding standards. •Develop, enhance, document, and maintain custom WordPress plugins. •Lead EPICs in the agile development process, providing coordination, direction, and mentorship to development resources. •Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the product lifecycle, providing technical expertise and identifying issues. •Lead development scrum groups and take responsibility for multiple stories across team members. •Collaborate in story planning, balancing specifications, technical design, and testing possibilities. •Contribute to the architecture and design of new features for WordPress plugins and core functionality.Required Qualifications •Strong expertise in WordPress, including Gutenberg and custom plugin development. •Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, React, Node.js, CSS, and HTML. •Experience with AWS, Docker, and MySQL for backend and deployment tasks. •Knowledge of CI/CD processes and unit testing automation. •Ability to communicate effectively, manage priorities, and lead development efforts in an agile environment.Preferred Qualifications •Experience in optimizing performance and finding ways to increase development efficiency. •Strong problem-solving skills and proactive contributions to coding standards and best practices.Skills •WordPress, PHP, React, Gutenberg •JavaScript, Node.js, CSS, HTML •AWS, Docker, MySQL •CI/CD, Unit TestingEducation: Bachelors Degree
