The purpose of the position is to ensure compliancy with Department of Education WBL program guidelines, ensure student safety, and provide adequate number of compliant job sites for Work Based Learning student applicants statewide. Responsibilities The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. Evaluation of potential job sites for safety, student development and compliance purposes, including site photos during each visit ? Responding to issues regarding to or at the job site (in conjunction with WBL/YAP Program Coordinator), including immediate response to the job site ? Regularly Scheduled and Unannounced visits to work sites ? Student/Mentor Matching ? Work Site Orientation for all participants ? Maintaining Employer Relationships ? Access and recommend students for employer interviews (in cooperation with counselor and CTAE instructors if appropriate). ? Monitoring student progress, hours, earnings and learning goals ? Promotion of Employability Skill Development in the classroom and on the job ? Establish relationships with community partners and potential job placement sites often and on a regular basis. WBL Job Site Specialists will be evaluated based on procurement and maintenance of partnerships. ? Attending workforce development events, job fairs, professional development, training as requiredMinimum Requirements ? Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Counseling, or related field of study ? Three (3) years' experience in Human Resources, Work Based Learning Program, CTAE Field Program, Training, Workforce Development, or related field OR ? Equivalent combination of education and experience Certificates and Licenses

GA PSC School Counseling License/Certificate ? Licensed Social Worker - LMSW ? Previous experience as a Learning Coach, Advisor, or Teacher at Georgia Cyber Academy ? Previous experience as an online educator or academic administrator ? Knowledge of the SCSC Comprehensive Performance Framework ? Knowledge of GaDOE CCRPI ? Previous experience with online educational tools/curriculum/assessments ? Expert Level skills with Microsoft Excel ? Working knowledge of Naviance and Con App ? - Work Schedule: This is primarily a Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, 5 days/week, in field position that requires traveling up to 85% of the time.
