- Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe InDesign, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Zoom, Teams and Webex preferred. Applicants comfortable and skilled with public speaking are desired. Preference given to students in the TRIO Student Support Services program and/or first-generation students.
- Develop social media strategy and help promote Trio SSS events by creating flyers, using social media and creating periodic newsletters;
- Learn and understand logistics of event planning then assist with planning, executing and evaluating TRIO SSS events;
- Assist students with basic enrollment and registration;
- Provide support to students during peak periods including: assist students with My Tri-C Space; provide online and/or in-person tour of campus and College resources; assist with virtual, on- and off-campus events such as open houses, New Student Orientation, college fairs;
- Must participate in leadership programs and attend student success workshops;
- Willingness to learn new technology;
- Assist with special projects;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Havecompleted at least 6 credit hours at Tri-C;
- minimum GPAof 2.5;
- consistentlymaintain 6 credit hours each semester;
- maintainsatisfactory academic progress;
- adhere toCollege's confidentiality policy;
- successfully pass background/drug screening;
