SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Workday Consultant to perform a comprehensive review of our clients' Workday system architecture, optimize module configurations, and resolve specific system issues. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday functionality, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, and Talent Optimization, with a proven ability to customize and enhance system performance to align with business goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate the current Workday system setup to ensure optimal configuration and adherence to best practices
- Enhance the functionality of HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, and Talent Optimization modules to improve operational efficiency
- Customize tasks to align with business processes and objectives
- Configure demographic data fields as mandatory within the Talent Optimization module
- Review and resolve issues with earning codes in Payroll, including holiday and overtime pay discrepancies
- Partner with internal teams to understand pain points, deliver tailored solutions, and provide guidance on best practices
- Perform end-to-end testing to ensure all configurations and customizations are functioning as intended
- Create detailed documentation for all system updates and provide training to relevant stakeholders as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of experience as a Workday Consultant or in a similar role
- Expertise in Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, and Talent Optimization modules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
- Proven experience in system customization, specifically configuring mandatory fields and resolving payroll earning code issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Must be Workday certified
