Workday Financial Specialist Associate (NYC- Hybrid)

FTE Only: $140,000 - $150,000

A leading trusted, global investment firm is seeking a Workday Financial Specialist based here in New York, NY to join their talented tech team! It's an Associate position for an expert within Workday Financial working with investment partners in the private equity space. Their global platform lets individuals invest in both small and large companies while having access to billions of assets for their management team to utilize. Here is what you ll be working on:

• Working jointly with finance, FP&A and tax department teams on technology matters including reporting, troubleshooting and system integrations
• Utilizing workday financials to generate and maintain financial reports
• Working closely with end-users to model solutions to validate and document business requirements
• Conduct daily Workday maintenance functions, including troubleshooting
• Oversee and carry out projects using internal and external resources
• Share knowledge and new learnings on leading practices in Workday with the team.

Job requirements:

• 2+ years of Workday Finance experience (Workday Financials certification is a plus)
• Has experience working with several modules within Workday Financials (Min. 2)
• Relevant industry experience (Asset Management, Financial Services etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional professionalism and business ethics
• Understands the details and features of accounting and finance, and act as support and provide solutions when needed
• Proficiency of prism, extend or adaptive is a plus
• CPA accreditation a plus
