Job Title: Workday Functional/Technical Developer Contract Length: 3 Months Location: Plano, TX, Richmond, VA, or McLean, VA (Hybrid: Mon & Fri remote, Tue-Thu onsite) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Workday Functional/Technical Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday configuration, integrations, and technical development, with a focus on Human Capital Management (HCM), Recruiting, and Compensation modules. You will work closely with product owners, HR partners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business priorities and HR strategies. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios. • Translate business priorities into technical solutions within the Workday platform. • Deliver Workday solutions across HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation modules through efficient processes while maintaining high standards. • Communicate effectively across teams, including product owners and stakeholders, to influence solutions and ensure alignment with business goals. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with HR partners to redesign business processes that optimize results. • Stay up-to-date with Workday updates, fixes, and capabilities; continually research and test new features. • Build and maintain thorough documentation for system implementation. • Serve as the primary contact for questions related to system functionality from both business and technical perspectives. • Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, conducting testing, and collaborating with the business to resolve issues. Functional Role Requirements: • Basic Qualifications: • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. • At least 4 years of experience with Workday functional configuration, specifically in HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation modules. • At least 3 years of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform. • At least 2 years of experience with calculated fields, EIBs, and custom reports. • Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree. • 5 years of experience with Workday functional configuration in HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation. • Workday or Workday Pro certifications in HCM, Recruiting, or Compensation. Technical Role Requirements: • Basic Qualifications: • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. • At least 4 years of experience with Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, XSLT, and PECI. • At least 1 year of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform. • At least 1 year of experience with calculated fields, EIBs, and custom reports. • Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree. • 5 years of experience with Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, XSLT, and PECI. • 1 year of experience with Workday Orchestrate or Extend. • Workday or Workday Pro certifications in Integrations or Extend. Location Requirement: • Must be able to work onsite in Plano, TX, Richmond, VA, or McLean, VA on a hybrid schedule (Mon & Fri remote, Tue-Thu onsite).
