ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Workday HCM Solutions Architect. Summary: In this pivotal role, the Workday HCM Solutions Architect will be a seasoned professional with a deep functional understanding of HCM systems, complemented by robust technical expertise. Responsibilities will include mentoring less-experienced staff, guiding their development in HCM functional, technical, and analytical domains, and serving as a vital Corporate Systems advocate. As a key leader, this role will spearhead automation initiatives and act as the primary functional and technical expert supporting the Human Resource user community. The Workday HCM Solutions Architect will translate complex user requirements into well-engineered, tested, and effectively deployed business application solutions. Job Responsibilities:
- Corporate Systems Advocacy: Serve as a leading representative for Corporate Systems, spearheading automation initiatives and supporting strategic technological advancements
- Proactive Requirement Elicitation: Actively gather requirements through interviews, workshops, and business process analysis, addressing business and stakeholder needs comprehensively
- Customer-First Solutions: Prioritize user-centric solutions, ensuring user needs and experiences drive all technological developments
- Workday Project Management: Utilize Workday deployment methodology for full implementation of Workday (HCM and FINS); Participate in review of System Integrator deliverables, and identify non-conformances to Workday deployment methodology standards and customer acceptance criteria; Assist customer Program Manager and Value Stream Leads with managing a cross-functional team, working across all levels of the organization to ensure the program is delivered successfully, on schedule, and within budget
- Program Cadence Meeting: Weekly: Program Core Team, Design Review Board, Program Planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Extensive experience in cloud implementations of Workday HCM in the Staffing industry
- Advanced knowledge of staffing industry key considerations for Pay and Bill scenarios, such as gross profit calculation, commission splits, rebates, fees, and discounts
- Experience in Workday HCM Cloud implementations
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies, Integrations Tools, Analytics and Data Visualizations Tools
- Strong network of Workday SMEs, especially those with a concentration in Workday FINS
- Strong experience in systems design, solution development, testing, deployment and support of HCM applications including Core HR, Compensation, Talent Development
- Able to act as the primary expert for the Human Resource user community on HCM systems for Core HCM modules and Security, providing comprehensive support and advice
- Able to collaborate with the customer Enterprise Architect, Solutions Architects, System Integrator Leads and customer Functional Leads to translate complex user requirements into practical, well-engineered, tested, and effectively deployed business application solutions within the capabilities of Workday for optimal solutions
- Able to provide guidance on best practices within HCM and hands-on configuration
- Able to inform integrations development efforts with advanced knowledge of Workday system requirements as the target system
- Able to collaborate with System Integrator partners and customer
- Able to support end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing with expertise, a library of relevant test cases/scenarios and participation in testing triage sessions to determine most appropriate corrective actions to address failed cases
