What You'll do: We are seeking a Workday Integration Lead who will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of HR technology and integration architecture to provide innovative solutions. The Workday Integration Lead primarily works with Human Resources and Information Technology teams. This role will create and maintain system integrations and configure related security roles, business processes, and their associated security policies. This role also partners with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure solutions are scalable, effective, and fit within broader information technology infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and document the Workday integration systems using Workday Orchestrate, Core Connectors, Web Services, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
  • Develop integrations and data structures to set up and implement Workday Prism
  • Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment lifecycle
  • Possess solid understanding of the business process, workflows, and data requirements for Workday integrations across HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Time, Learning, and Compensation
  • Partner and build relationships with stakeholders to align on objectives and advance Workday adoption and ease of use
  • Research problems, identify opportunities, and seek opinions and feedback on suggested solutions
  • Translate business requirements into system requirements
  • Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, report back to management and business leaders, and implement remediations
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Workday Integrations Certification
  • 5 years' HCM, HRIS, or Integrations experience
  • 2 years' Workday experience
  • At least one full implementation of Workday as a Workday partner, with demonstrated Workday technical and integrations experience
  • Experience integrating different types of data sources with Workday, including but not limited to financial systems, learning management software, payroll, and ticketing systems
  • Experience translating business requirements into system requirements
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Great organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate and work productively as part of multiple fully remote and/or hybrid teams, as well as with multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Must be local to the DC Metro area. This is a hybrid role that requires 2-3 days on site (locations could be Mclean, VA or Washington, DC)
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • Workday HCM Certification
  • Workday PRISM Certification

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
