Job Description:

Our client, a Fortune 500 advertising company, is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their team. As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be part of the Payroll team supporting multiple businesses across several states. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office. This is a permanent position.

Job Title: Payroll Coordinator

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

What's the Job?

  • Perform all payroll related functions for multi-state, multi-company payroll using Workday software including California terminations, overtime calculation, gross ups, charity deductions, bonus payments
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Audit incoming paperwork for authorized approvals and verify accuracy of local office data entry for assigned agencies
  • Input off-cycle payments as necessary
  • Support local office Payroll and HR departments by responding to questions or inquiries

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar role
  • Recent Workday experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding garnishments, tax regulations, and FLSA
