Workday Payroll Processor (REMOTE) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing's client.
What You'll Be Doing: The Workday Payroll/Payroll Tax Partner is responsible for the accurate and timely payroll processing and assisting with all aspects of North America in-house payroll tax compliance (federal, state, and local tax) and ensuring enforcement of corporate payroll policies. In addition, this role will provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers and oversee the relationship and spend with external consultants that assist in payroll processing and payroll tax related matters. Support and process payroll for multiple legal entities across multiple states and provinces with various pay schedules in the US and Canada. Validate and ensure accuracy of data in Workday such as changes, hours, earnings and calculate retroactive adjustments. Review and reconcile all daily tax and wage amounts submitted to OSV/ADP; research discrepancies and handle accordingly Reconcile gross wages, taxable wages, and tax amounts for multiple legal entities monthly, quarterly, and annually between Workday payroll and OSV/ADP. Ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all tax filings, amendments and reporting including W-2s and W-2cs. Provide various reports and data for internal and external audits as required. Assist in various special projects which may include implementation, creation of new processes, and ad hoc reporting. Required: 4+ years of Workday Payroll Processing experience as well as Workday Payroll Tax Processing experience. Prefer an Associates or Bachelor's from an accredited college or university. 2+ years' experience with Workday Payroll. 6+ years progressive payroll related experience 4+ years multi-state and local payroll tax experience Experience with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables) Must adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment. Ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines. Experience with Workday. Experience with OSV or ADP Smart Compliance required. What's In It For You?
