Northeast Shared Services is seeking a Workers Compensation Clerk to join our dynamic Risk Management team. This role performs a variety of clerical tasks associated with the examining and processing of workers' compensation claims. This position must maintain a high level of courtesy and service to associates and outside vendors. The incumbent must possess and understanding and appreciation for the confidential nature of the work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform data entry and word processing. Prepare form letters and state agency report forms. Monitor diary system and retrieve files designated claim file folders. Maintain records and prepare reports which may be complex in nature. Reconcile wage payment computations and reviews submitted medical service bills for accuracy against fee schedules and UCR tables. Verify coverage and eligibility with company Pharmacies, the on-site medical facility and other outside vendors.
