Role: Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner (Full Time)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm EST
Can be Fully Remote in NY OR Hybrid 2 days per week in the Albany office
Salary Range: $80K - $90K/yr
What will you be doing?
- Analyzing and processing complex or technically difficult workers' compensation claims by investigating and gathering information to determine the exposure on the claim.
- Negotiates settlement of claims within designated authority.
- Manages the litigation process; ensures timely and cost effective claims resolution.
- Manages claim recoveries, including but not limited to: subrogation, Second Injury Fund excess recoveries and Social Security and Medicare offsets.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of relevant claims and workers compensation experience.
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred.
- MUST HAVE Active NY Insurance Adjusters' License.
