Contract Duration: 5 months
Work Schedule: REMOTE, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm PST
Hourly Rate: $48.50/hr
What will you be doing?
- Analyzing and processing complex or technically difficult workers' compensation claims by investigating and gathering information to determine the exposure on the claim.
- Negotiates settlement of claims within designated authority.
- Manages the litigation process; ensures timely and cost effective claims resolution.
- Manages claim recoveries, including but not limited to: subrogation, Second Injury Fund excess recoveries and Social Security and Medicare offsets.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of relevant claims and workers compensation experience.
- Active OSIP Certification is required.
- Workers Compensation knowledge is required.
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred but not required.
