The workflow manager/administrative assistant will provide support to the Directorate of Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection, Air National Guard, Joint Base Andrews, MD. The successful candidate will need to reside near the area and will work on-site at Joint Base Fort Andrews. Duties:
- Requires professional demeanor, understanding of the organizational structure of the Air National Guard, and experience supporting headquarters functions.
- Assign, manage taskings, and perform quality control reviews on staff decision actions for the Deputy and Associate Engineering Directors, Logistics, Engineering, & Force Protection (ANG/A4) directorate using the Air Force's Task Management Tool (TMT).
- Oversee the tasking process for the ANG/A4 and be responsible for TMT operations across all ANG/A4 Engineering Divisions.
- Responsible for developing a standardized process for presenting information through the chain of command for coordination, response, and/or approval.
- Coordinate with the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) to support answering all tasks assigned, consolidating Office of Coordinating Responsibility (OCR) input, and preparing the response, including staff summary sheets (SSS), if necessary.
- Provide support and input to OPRs to complete taskers.
- As Workflow Manager, resolve any disputed assignments between the Initiator and the assigned OPRs and OCRs.
- Prepare staff packages and products (e.g., staff summary sheets, presentations, spreadsheets, correspondence, background papers, talking papers, and white papers, etc.) for Senior Leadership audiences.
- Organize and execute project work, including the appropriate delegation.
- Display and demonstrate company ownership attributes, including risk tolerance, business acumen, loyalty, and financial resolve.
Clearance Requirements There is no Security Clearance requirement for this position. Required Skills & Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree-- Years of related experience may be considered.
- Ten (10) - Fifteen (15) plus years of experience in administrative support and workflow management.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing administrative support for industrial and/or federal clients.
- Familiarity with the Air Force's Task Management Tool (TMT).
- Experience in Air Force or Air National Guard Civil Engineering a plus.
- Experience authoring professional communications to Senior Leaders, Congress and governmental agencies.
- Experience providing Logistics, Engineering, Environmental and/or Force Protection support to the Department of Defense.
- Must be adept at problem-solving, including identifying issues and coming up with solutions.
- Demonstrated exceptional project management skills and abilities.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally.
- Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data, and skillfully gather and analyze information.
- Must be able to prioritize assignments to use time efficiently.
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, and be responsive to management direction.
