This role is preferably based in out of our Omaha, NE office in a Hybrid capacity, but can also be 100% remote for the right candidate.As an Onboarding Consultant, you'll play a key role in providing a first-class, friction-free onboarding experience to our new employers who have selected Pacific Life as the carrier of choice for their employee benefits in the Workforce Benefits divisionHow you'll help move us forward:* Develop and lead best practices for onboarding employers in our newly created Workforce Benefits Division including processes and procedures aligned to policy admin system and product builds* Own the onboarding experience for new or existing employers who have selected Pacific Life as their carrier of choice and lead them through the set-up of their new product in coordination with brokers, account specialists, and other internal stakeholders (like contracts, compliance, billing and enrollment)* Build and continually enhance the client experience through creation and refinement of digital client facing onboarding and interaction tools designed to streamline the collection of onboarding information, create real time status and provide transparency between broker, employer and internal partners* Consult with employers as a product and capabilities expert to provide proactive solutions and innovative ideas that align with the friction-free service and claims model* Coordinate and lead calls with employers, brokers and internal partners as needed throughout the onboarding process to ensure clear communication, accurate set up and best-in-class customer experience* Help onboard new team members and mentor them through the learning journey* Configure administrative platform to align with client offering based on quote and post-sale discussions* Educate employers on administrative best practices to prepare them post onboarding on our billing, claims and service needs including the utilization of digital and portal capabilities* Work within departmental controls for all aspects of the role including a high standard of ethics* Participate and contribute to team meetings or special tasks and assignments and brings innovative ideas and a continuous improvement mindset to the department* Identify, understand and ensure that actions, behaviors and decisions are consistent with the department, division and Pacific Life Mission & VisionThe experience you bring:* College degree or equivalent experience preferred* 8+ years' Workforce Benefits client onboarding and operations experience* Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple client onboardings using a strong project management skillset* Needs to be a strong communicator with externally facing presence & detail-oriented* Excellent time management and organizational skills* Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving skillset.* Intermediate skills with MS office applications* Will need to gain expert knowledge of Pacific Life's Workforce Benefits platforms such as policy admin, and workflow tools.Base Pay Range:The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
