Title: Contingent Workforce Specialist
Location: Remote in Sothern California
Duration: 6 months
Pay: $30.50-40.50/hour
Position Summary:
Insight Global is looking for a Contingent Workforce Specialist to join our team! This person will coach, train, and assist hiring managers and vendor suppliers on standard operating procedures. The role will be responsible for managing our vendor management and applicant tracking systems. The Contingent Workforce Specialist should provide outstanding customer service, be detailed oriented, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the requisition process of contingent workers in the VNDLY vendor management system.
- Partners closely with hiring managers to get a full understanding of position requirements and effectively translates those requirements to preferred suppliers.
- Assists the hiring manager through the selection and onboarding process for contingent workers and continues to provide support for ongoing maintenance of contingent workers including time sheets, performance discussions with suppliers, and contingent worker requests.
- Maintains and updates all standard operating procedures for contingent workers, suppliers, and hiring managers.
- Manages supplier performance including candidate quality utilizing a quarterly score carding process, performance improvement plans, and supplier optimization.
- Creates supplier score cards, quarterly data and regular reporting requests through the VNDLY vendor management system.
- Responsible for managing the VNDLY vendor management system ticket management process including defects, enhancements, etc.
- Resolves escalated issues from contractors, managers and vendors.
- Stays current with laws and regulations concerning the contractor workforce.
- The role will also help develop and implement marketing materials (both print and digital & graphic and textual) to build brand awareness for both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Requirements:
- Typically has at least 2 years' experience in the contingent workforce area or equivalent experience.
- Experience within a staffing agency, corporate recruiting environment, or managed service provider.
- Excellent communication skills, including speaking, writing, and presenting.
- Ability to accomplish multiple projects, work assignments and priorities with little supervision.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and/or vendor management systems.
- Prefer prior experience with VNDLY and Certified Contingent Workforce Professional (CCWP).
- Strong change management, process management, and negotiation skills.
- Coach, train, and assist hiring managers and suppliers on standard operating procedures.
- Reporting and metrics-driven in order to analyze data and improve processes.
- Proficiency in using the latest versions of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience/Education:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
