Join the Mizuho team as a Tidal Automation Engineer!

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Workload Automation Administrator with experience in Tidal Enterprise Scheduler or similar workload automation tools, such as Control-M or AutoSys, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing job scheduling solutions, paired with strong communication and customer service skills. This role is essential to ensure efficient and reliable enterprise scheduling while supporting a collaborative and dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Tidal Enterprise Scheduler or equivalent workload automation tools (Control-M, AutoSys, etc.).

* Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues related to job scheduling and automation.

* Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, design workflows, and optimize scheduling processes.

* Monitor job execution, proactively addressing issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

* Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a reliable point of contact for troubleshooting and support.

* Document processes, workflows, and troubleshooting steps to enhance team knowledge and operational efficiency.

* Stay calm and professional under pressure while resolving real-time technical issues.

Qualifications:

* Proven hands-on experience with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler, Control-M, AutoSys, or similar workload automation tools.

* Strong skills in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing job scheduling tools.

* Background in server-side systems and support roles (cloud-based experience not required but a plus).

* Excellent communication and customer service skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

* Ability to remain composed under pressure and provide timely, effective solutions.

* Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.

Preferred:

* Familiarity with scripting languages to enhance automation workflows.

* Relevant certifications in Tidal, Control-M, or AutoSys workload automation tools.

The expected base salary ranges from $77k-$145k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
