Workout Manager - Commercial Lending

Portfolio Management:

• Manage a portfolio of distressed or special assets, including loans and owned real estate, with a focus on resolution strategies.
• Conduct in-depth asset performance reviews and financial analysis to determine the appropriate course of action for each asset.
• Develop and implement customized workout strategies, including restructures, forbearance, deed-in-lieu transactions, and foreclosures.
• Collaborate with legal, accounting, and valuation teams to ensure compliance and optimal recovery outcomes.
• Analyze real estate market trends to assess the potential for asset repositioning or divestment.
• Provide insights on market conditions and their impact on portfolio valuation.
• Serve as the primary liaison with borrowers, legal counsel, brokers, and third-party vendors.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor and mitigate risks associated with the portfolio, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Identify early warning signs of asset deterioration and take corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee the marketing and disposition of assets, ensuring transactions align with company objectives.
• Negotiate terms with buyers, lenders, and other counterparties to optimize financial outcomes.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in asset management, loan workouts, or commercial real estate.
• Proven track record of managing distressed real estate assets and executing recovery strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop team members.
