Workplace & Community Manager
A leading hedge fund is hiring for a Workplace and Community Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful operation of the office while enhancing the overall experience for employees and guests. This role manages the reception and hospitality teams, event planning, oversees facilities, and works closely with vendors.
Salary commensurate with experience: $80-90k plus paid overtime, bonus and great benefits package
Onsite Monday – Friday in Stamford, CT (shuttle from Train Station)
Hours: 8:30-5:30pm with flexibility as needed for events
Seeking:
•3+ years of experience – background in corporate events, facilities, corporate services, Hospitality or workplace experience
•Proven experience managing teams and vendors
•Bachelor's Degree preferred
•Strong Project Management skills
•Experience running/coordinating events from A-Z
•Maintaining and tracking budgets
•Extremely strong attention to detail, organizational skills and eager
Responsibilities include:
• Oversee the front-of-house reception and hospitality team, inclusive of setting schedules, reviewing timesheets, payroll and ensuring a professional experience for visitors.
• Maintain high standards of service and professionalism in the reception area.
• Responsible for onsite catering.
• Manage all stages of on-site events, including concept development, budgeting, and execution.
• Partner with facilities staff to support all building and business services.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with various facilities vendors and onboard new vendors.
• Assist in managing budgets related to facilities and workplace experience.
• Track and report on expenses, identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities without
