Overview:

Atlassian has 12 offices globally and we require a strategist who can sit in the center of people strategy, financial strategy, leasing strategy and future of work principles to create strategies and drive decisions that will be approved by our executive leadership team because they deliver the highest possible business ROI. The development of these strategies require deep collaboration with leasing professionals, the finance team, people strategists and future of work leaders to make real estate decisions that drive our business forward in a new, distributed context.
Our ideal candidate will operate in a fast-moving environment, and be unafraid to develop fluency with talent, finance, real estate, equity and funding considerations and context. This leader has strong interpersonal skills, exercises excellent judgment, is an clear thinker and writer and excels at developing trusted partnerships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. Real estate experience is useful but not required. Demonstrated ability to drive strategies at the executive level is required.
This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the Workplace organization. It will be responsible for Sydney Long Term (SLT) strategy that drives transformation and guides design and operational decision-making.

Atlassian Central sub-leasing and cash management strategy, involving CFO and People Orgs and external Developer & Co-Owner partners
Atlassian Central CAPEX strategy - most appropriate deployment of Capex and lease incentives (incl 380M fit-out budget) through to FY28 including the possibility of equity divestment strategy
Delhi Connection Hub business case - funding & approach
Seattle expansion strategy
San Fransisco sub-leasing strategy
Austin subleasing and activation strategy
Global space type guidelines, design standards and refit proposal
New geo-location - building business cases to support office establishment (or not)

Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting.
Proven track record of developing and implementing business strategies.
Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $205,000 - $273,400
Zone B: $184,500 - $246,000
Zone C: $170,200 - $226,900
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
