Job Title: Worship Leader

Job Summary:We are seeking a Worship Leader to lead our contemporary service team during 11am worship. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of music production, including selecting music pieces, conducting rehearsals, and coordinating performances. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, strong leadership skills, and the ability to provide musical direction during live performances.

Duties:

Selecting appropriate music pieces for performances

Conducting rehearsals to ensure musical cohesion and excellence

Creating weekly books of music and music charts

Providing musical direction during live performances

Weekly planning meetings with staff and volunteers

Communicating effectively with team members and volunteers

Qualifications:

Skills with instruments such as guitar and/or keyboard

Comfort with singing and being on a stage

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficiency in conducting and musical arrangement

Familiarity with different musical genres and styles

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience as a music director or leadership in a music role

Experience in music education or instruction

Familiarity with different musical genres and styles

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $250.00 per week

Expected hours: 15 per week

Schedule:
