Mercy Health in Springfield, OH is seeking a team orientated advanced practice clinician (APC) to support growth in our busy Wound Care Center. Experience in wound care is preferred.We are offering candidates a competitive income and benefit package.Position Responsibilities :* Perform physical assessments on patients and complete patient histories in the ambulatory office and Wound Care Clinic.* Order medications, treatments, and labs as described and permitted under the Ohio State Medical Board Supervision Agreement and the Mercy Health Credentialing Board.* Wound Care Clinic, Hyperbaric Treatments* Round on patients admitted to the hospital; review care plans with nursing staff as established by our physicians.* Chemical cauterization, general wound care, incision and drainage, wound debridement, and ostomy care.* Educating patients and caretakers on wound care, infection, injury prevention, and pressure ulcer (bed sore) care.* Complete discharge summariesPreferred education and skills:* EPIC experience* Certified Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant* Good verbal and written communication skillsInterested candidates should submit their resume to Traci Cox ...@mercy.com (mailto:...@mercy.com) .Questions? 419-###-#### (cell)
