Responsibilities
- Assesses our residents skin status and provides wound care treatments per protocols
- Supervise and assess resident care and take appropriate action
- Provide education to direct care staff on skin care and wound care protocols
- Works collaboratively with attending physicians and Wound Care physicians
- Implement Community procedures to provide resident care.
- As part of the management team, participates in on call rotation
Must haves:
- Must have a current and valid LVN nursing license or a current and valid LVN license from a Compact Party State.
- Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing a Plus. Healthcare experience (Skilled Nursing) is a must
- Certified Wound Care/ Treatment Nurse A PLUS - After specific time of employment will provide the certification
- Must take the on call phone when scheduled
