Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a XRAY Technician.Position type: Contract to hire.Location: East Syracuse, New YorkJob/ Shift Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (Monday- Friday ; 8 hours)As a XRAY Technician you will be:Determine individual technique for prescribed examination and position patient properly.Read and interpret physicians' orders.Properly shield patients for all examinations.Produce quality radiographs with correct Patient ID and markings.Review and evaluate images to ensure satisfactory quality.Maintain clean examination room and equipment.Communicate with patients requiring examination and procedures and provide reassurance as necessary.Perform identification procedure by verbally confirming with the patient before beginning a procedure.Register patients, enter orders, and track patients using the RIS.Always maintain patient confidentiality.Must be customer service oriented and maintain a professional appearance at all times.to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.The ideal candidate will have:Must have an associate's degree in medical Radiography and License and Registration (ARRT) required.May need additional certification, depending on specialty.A minimum of two years' experience as a Medical Radiology Technologist.Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.May need to have any other additional certification, depending on education.Excellent communication skills.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
