Using technology and computers, you will provide essential hearing services to make a daily impact on the lives of patients.ResponsibilitiesYou will perform diagnostic hearing tests including pure tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry and impedance audiometryYou will interpret test results for patients and physiciansYou will make recommendations regarding the need for medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection etc.You will conduct hearing aid evaluations to determine the most appropriate amplification for an individual and then fit the aids to the patient providing detailed instruction on the operation and maintenance of the instrumentsYou will provide routine maintenance and hearing aid troubleshooting for aids purchased through this officeRequirementsCompletion of an accredited audiology programCertificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech, Language and Hearing AssociationCurrent Washington State Audiology CertificationMinimum one (1) year of related experienceCurrent BLS CertificationOur ValuesAs a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $83,716.00 - $120,482.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
