Essential Functions:
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
- Assists with routine inspections, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
- Assists with repairs, as needed
- Assists with equipment demonstration, loading, and unloading of equipment
- Maintains equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures
- Responsible for general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards, maintaining a safe and hazard-free yard
- Maintains company equipment - keeps in good, clean, and orderly condition
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of construction and rental industry equipment
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Equipment selection skills - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
- Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization
- First-class organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, deadline oriented
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One to two years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred

- Be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment
- Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work
Work Environment:
- Regularly works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extreme conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
- Noise level may be loud at times
- Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment
- Significant time spent in confined spaces and high places.
